Ceske Aerolinie AS Company Overview:

Ceske Aerolinie (known as Czech Airlines or CSA) is the national carrier of the Czech Republic. Since joining the European Union in 2004, the airline has greatly expanded. It now flies to 104 cities in 44 countries across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, North America, and Asia. CSA operates a fleet of about 50 Airbus and Boeing jets. It has five subsidiaries, one of which, CSA Catering, handles 90% of the food services at Prague's airport. Czech Airlines was founded as Czechoslovak State Airlines in 1923. The Czech Ministry of Finance owns 57% of the airline; other Czech agencies own the rest. However, the government plans to sell the airline to a domestic consortium in 2009, to keep its national carrier status.
